Shipping, Packaging and Framing

Shipping in India:

IndianArtZone offers free shipping for rolled paintings all over India. We only work with reputed courier partners like BlueDart or similar reputed courier partners for domestic deliveries. Please connect to our friendly customer care for further information for any special deliveries at support@Indianartzone.com. Default Delivery timeframe is normal as slated by the courier partner. For orders delivered in India GST/Taxes will be applied additionally - for Art (12%), Crafts (18%)

Shipping outside India:

We ship rolled paintings to all countries of the world. We only work with reputed courier partners like DHL, UPS, FedEx for International deliveries. Delivery time for regular destinations like USA, Canada, UK, Australia, All of Europe, Malaysia, Singapore and GCC-Middle East is around 3-5 days more than the mentioned time frame in Artwork details. For other remote locations, delivery might take a little longer than usual. We always strive to deliver ahead of time than what is specified. For any customised Artworks in bigger odd sizes, we will provide a shipping quote based on the same.

International customers must note that our costs do not cover Custom Clearance Fees and Custom Duties(which might be levied occasionally). If applicable, these charges would be collected by the courier partner at the time of delivery, or they might connect with you before delivery. These charges vary from country to country and subject to frequent changes - hence we can't give you an estimate of the same. However, these are quite nominal. As we usually use DHL/UPS/ FedEx for international deliveries you can connect to their customer care in your country and take further information. As well, our friendly customer care support team will track the shipment and provide timely updates.

Packaging:

We ensure and strive to make sure the ordered Painting reaches you in the stipulated time or before that. We observe the 4-eye principle in ensuring the expected quality of work is conformed. We package the Artwork(s) with extreme care that it withstands any tough handling to prevent damage and moisture during transit.

  • A sheet of brown paper or butter paper is placed over the painting before rolling it.
  • Finally, Artwork rolls are placed in custom made hard protective eco-friendly custom-made tubes and sealed at both the ends.
  • Free Gift-card messages requests to be addressed to your loved ones is also available on request to our customer support team at support@Indianartzone.com

Framing

The reason we ship rolled paintings is to preserve the paintings during transit. Framing can be done locally. Please connect to our customer support team for further information on framing queries at support@Indianartzone.com.

Care for Paintings

  • Do not keep the painting rolled in the packaging tube for longer periods.
  • Get it stretched on a stretcher frame or frame it as soon as possible.
  • It is advisable to leave it open stretched/framed to admire the real beauty of the painting and not to put a glass frame over the canvas since the canvas needs to breathe and with glass moisture might get trapped inside the frame.
